My Valentines, Why I LOVE Them

Isaac "Momma, you look pretty." "I like your shirt." "I'm so glad I get to spend some time with just you and me Momma." He has laid out outfits for me on more than one occasion just to be helpful. He has gotten Mason dressed without even being asked to do so. He draws and writes me love notes constantly. He takes great care of his younger brothers, protecting them, sacrificing for them, and being so patient with them.

Ethan "Mommy, I love you so much I love you all the way to God. And I love God all the way back to you." His prayers are sensational: "And we must thank the Lord (in a Baptist preacher-like voice) to heal Mommy's knee. And that she can eat healthy and go to the YMCA to heal it." Ever since my latest surgery he hasn't once missed asking Heavenly Father to heal my knee in his prayers. When I'm all better I will have no doubt that it was from the faith of this special child. Ethan has no guile. He is not afraid to stand for what he knows is true.

Mason "Mommy, I tool (cool). Mommy, I toot (cute). I toot hair." -Randomly spoken from his car seat one day as he ran his little fingers through his hair. "I wuv you Mommy, I wuv you too." "I four." -No Mason, you're two, Ethan is four. "No Mommy! I four!" And whenever something is poking him, or his diaper isn't feeling comfy, he always blames it on a spider. "Pider biteen me." And Mason has the cutest little happy day skip ever. Talky talky happy bouncy skippy jokey Mason.

Dave Does the dishes every night, sings action songs to the kids at night, lets me warm my cold feet on his legs in bed every night, he comes home like a giddy boy all chatty and excited after every basketball game or practice, he appreciates and is passionate about many varieties of music, he's known as the singing dentist and always has a song for any situation, he comes up with stimulating and interesting conversations and will talk with me late into the night, he's witty and has a great sense of humor, he never holds me back, he completely trusts me in everything, he pats my toosh and tells me he knows "it's comforting," he can relate with all types of people- from ghetto to country, he is my wikipedia, he's driven, he's forward thinking, a planner, a dreamer, he has amazing ideas, he cooks, he cleans, he gets our family many free airline tickets, he has great empathy for other's hardships, he is the master of after-Thanksgiving-Day-sales, he was and is an amazing missionary, he is an excellent teacher, he is so hot, he is open minded, he is a history buff, he has an amazing memory and knows facts and information about the most random things, he is a wonderful father, he is a man with righteous desires, and he tells me he loves me and that I'm his best friend.

These boys have my heart and complete devotion. I adore them!!!
