This morning we went to the beach at about 9am, (soon after Isaac left for school, poor kid). We were the first ones in the parking lot and that made me think, ooh, maybe we'll find some cool creatures today. Sure enough. This is what we had fun exploring this morning:
tidepools
a sand dollar
a crab
And a starfish
Last week this is what we found:
a hermit crab
and tons of baby starfish!
What fun mornings!
(*reality check-- good thing I didn't post yesterday because yesterday wasn't such a fun morning, or day, now that you mention it)

That looks like a fun day! My girls would be in heaven to find treasures like your boys found. How close do you live to the beach?
what fun! Wish I were there with you. There seems to be something calming about the beach. Just looking at the pictures puts me at ease.

that is so neat! i love treasure hunting! and i get so relaxed out looking for things. my kids dig it!
