Car conversations

<- The car I drove at 16 (but in blue).

<- The care I drive now at 32.

<- A car that would be fun to drive at any age.

I like to be in the car. Ever since I got my own car when I was 16 I always have. And now with kids I still like to be in the car. It's nice to have them legally restrained, in their carseats, not breaking things, making messes or engaging in hitting and kicking. Not only that, but I also enjoy listening to their conversations with eachother.

This morning while taking Isaac to school somehow I began talking to the boys about the cyclone in Myanmar and earthquake in China. We talked about how we need to keep those people in our prayers. We talked about how many people had lost their homes, food, and friends and family. Upon hearing that many people had died, Isaac nonchalantly replied, like it was no big deal, "Well, they'll come back to life." Then Ethan matter of factly piped in, "Yeah, because of Jesus." Ethan then explained that "when Jesus comes He will go and get all the dead good guys and make them come back to life." Soooo, I guess they do listen during FHE- even if they are flipping off the couch and wrestling all over the floor. Hmm.... Maybe next week I'll teach about cleanliness being holiness and see if that fixes up the toy room's situation???
