Noise in the night

Night before last I had a good laugh. It was about 12:30am and I was sleeping on the couch ( not to worry, it wasn't due to marital discord, Dave was super sick and I didn't want to catch that nasty bug). I heard some talking and bumping around in Isaac and Ethan's room. Pretty normal noises. Then I heard more bumping and decided I'd better go see what was happening in there.

I walked in the room and saw that Isaac's bed was empty. I heard some rustling in their small walk-in closet and focused there only to see this:

Yes! Isaac's pants were dropped and he was aiming right for their dirty clothes hamper. (But he didn't have the evil face that Calvin has here, it was more of a nice, sleepy face). Was I too late?!! I didn't want to scare the little guy so I calmly asked, "Isaac, what are you doing?" He sleepily replied, "I need to go to the restroom Mom." And then he grabbed the clothes hamper and pulled it close and aimed again... "Whoa-whoa-whoa buddy! That's not the toilet! The toilet is over here." And I guided the confused little fella to the real bathroom and the real toilet that actually flushes.

Than I tucked him back in bed and told him that I would tell him about this in the morning and we would have a good laugh together. "Okay Mom" he said as he drifted off.

I left the room and had a good laugh to myself righ then! Hilarious! He was so clueless the whole time and so cute and nonchalant about the whole thing! Boy am I glad I went in when I did. That would have been an awful thing to realize and clean up a couple days later when I noticed their closet smelled like wiz!

Ps- Isaac did have a good laugh in the morning and couldn't believe it himself!

So glad you caught it!! Kai was sleeping in the tent in the living room and I heard little feet dancing around and he was heading for the corner, thinking it was the bathroom. Thankfully I was able to guide him to the bathroom in time. :)

So funny! Jon did that exact same thing but into his parents hall closet and I'm pretty sure they didn't catch him in time.

Good save, April. My boys' room is so stinky from boy stink, I don't know how long until I would notice.
