Last Monday I woke up and just felt like making it a 3 day weekend. I wanted the kids to myself for another day. So sorry teachers and public schools, we are playing hooky!
And we played all day! Forts, games, books, a trip to the downtown library and Kids Kampus (an awesome playground downtown). They even got fireman hats at the firehouse museum!

(*This was done the same week that Dave had been gone a second week in a row... this was also the same week where at the end of the week I wrote my "expressing frustrations" post. See what I'm getting at? Yes, I burn myself out. But I really enjoy doing this folks, we just have too much fun in the meantime. This isn't the first time I've done this and it surely won't be the last. Wahoo!)

I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy reading your blog each week. You have a wonderful way of expressing yourself and inspiring me! Thanks for expressing your MOM frustrations earlier--sometimes it's just so nice to hear that you are not the only one who feels that way. Good luck with all of your knee issues, I'll be praying for you, too!
I've got to make sure and do that every now and then. My mom did that with us and it made for some of my best memories! You're such a great mom April!!
