Vegan husband?

Dave started talking with a friend who does a raw food diet. Dave started thinking. Dave kept thinking. Dave decided to try veganhood. Dave went to the library. Dave brought home vegan cook books. Dave spent a whole Saturday cooking. Dave lost 9 lbs. in 2 weeks. Dave is worried. Dave is rethinking veganhood. Dave must eat more.
But here are some of the dishes he made. Pretty eh? Carrot curry soup, curry coconut tofu red pepper sauce, and a big pot of all-the-vegetables-in-the-world. He also made black bean burgers, sprouts, and some cookies for me ;).

This is so Dave, I love it.

About the alaska/hippie thing, I wouldn't mind if that were true...

That's great! Tell Dave to stock up on organic bananas (same price as conventional!) to get more calories. They are almost 100 calories apiece, and if he is looking to do this for health but not necessarily weight loss, EAT MORE BANANAS!

There are a lot of fun ways to eat bananas so that one doesn't get bored with it. I'm sure Dave will be creative enough to go for it!

We should get together for a meal sometime!

Those vegans / vegetarians sure can eat a ton of stuff...they just eat and eat and eat...sometimes for 2 hours in a sitting...I just get tired watching them eat...if there are vegans around, plan for at least 2 times the food per vegan ! ( I have both in my family so I know )
