Happy day

That is a term Mason likes to use these days. "Happy day" for his new favorite book, and "happy day" each time he stamped my arm (about 12) with Ethan's pumpkin stamp from pre-school. Oh, and for fun, here is the same "happy day" stamp he used on his own face right before we went into public:

But yes, today I had a real happy day. Totally my kind of day. Briefly: I cleaned the church with my boys at 9am. Ran an errand for Dave at 10am which ended at a random playground stop. 11:30am spent a couple hours at shark tooth beach soaking in the rays, watching dolphins, and finding 11 shark teeth. Back to the car for previously purchased Wendy's Jr. B. Chs. and melted Frostys. 2:30pm-5:30pm a bit o' shopping at KB Toys and Fossil resulting in more Pokemon cards and 2 sweet watches. 6pm dinner at McD's and more playground fun. 7pm drive into St. Augustine to see the lights and festivities. 8pm find a parking spot and hop out for a few minutes to watch a live Bluegrass band. 8:30pm drive home and transfer 2 sleeping boys to their beds, and put the awake one in bed too. 9:30pm relax in a clean and quiet house. What a fabulous time. Not to mention the boys had a blast too and were super friends. Dang, I love those kids. And Isaac was even heard saying, "These Pokemon cards are awesome! But there is only one thing better... my Mom." How's that to make you have a happy day? But I have to mention that there was one major thing missing from the day though- my best friend and favorite partner in crime, Dave. He is off galavanting in the wilderness getting ready for the Pioneer Trek he leads on Monday. Check him out! He's a hairy beast!
