it's sooo cold!

Today I took the kids to the levy to skip shells and it was a bit windy and chilly. We all had jeans and sweatshirts on. It was 54 degrees when I checked the van's thermometer. As Isaac ran around playing freeze tag I heard him say, "I am SO COLD! I think I'm gonna die!" Die?Actually, that's how I felt too as I huddled in the warmth of the van. 54 degrees felt bone chilling! I don't know how everyone else is doing the real cold weather and snow. Though it's actually going to get down to 29 degrees tonight (hopefully it doesn't ruin the grapefruit we've got on our tree), I don't mind, because I know in a fews days we'll have our 70 degree weather back. Could I emphasize it enough that I am so grateful to be in Florida?!

I brought in all my plants from the front porch and cranked up the heat...I love it...better than the wicked, miserable hot weather the rest of the year !

I WISH it was 54. Today it was 23 here. Now that's the kind of weather you feel like you will DIE in!!! Now doesn't that make you miss C-bus.

Freeze tag? Ironic name for a game in this weather, or purposefully done?

I have lived in Jacksonville my whole life (and we know that is a long, long time) and I have never been to the levy. THE LEVY??? Could you possibly have been at the jetties?? Gee, April I don't want you to sound like a Yankee!
