Sleeping angels

So one of my favorite things to do every night is right before I go to bed. I've done this ever since Isaac was a baby, and the only child. Now Isaac is almost 6 and I don't think I've ever missed more than a couple nights. But I love to go into the kid's rooms and just watch them for a moment while they sleep and before I head off to sleepy land too. It helps me remember why I love them and why I love being a mom. There is just something so serene and beautiful about a sleeping child. Children are just angels (most especially sleeping ones).

April, I'm right there with you. I also like to take a moment and watch them for a minute. Sometimes I actually want to wake them up--then I come back to my senses!

I do the same thing! I usually make Eric come look with me because of the funny positions they get into. I love it.

They're angels indeed... unless they've become night-time ninjas and slip into your bed in the wee hours, whereupon they throw arms, legs, ankles, elbows, fingers and wrists into all your delicate soft parts.

Angels? Yeah... from H-E-double-hockeysticks.
