Yeah-hoo! School is out and summer is officially here! And you can tell- this week we've been to the pool once and the beach twice. "Oh yeah baby!" as Ethan would say. I'm so excited for the summer fun. Sure, here in Florida we enjoy summer almost year round, but there aint nothin' like havin' all your kiddos at home with you and no schedule of having to go to bed, get up and drive or pick up for school. All we have to worry about is what pool today? Jax beach, Huegenot, or Hannah? The zoo or the MOSH? Library time or the movies? I sure love being a stay at home mom. Enjoying my summers like a kid again is definitely one thing I thoroughly enjoy!
And I'm so happy to have my Isaac back at home with us. The world is so tough and nasty these days and it's nice to be able to have him in my constant care instead of somebody else's. He's such a fun kid. The other day we were listening to a few songs from High School Musical 2 and Isaac and Ethan were really breakin' it down. Isaac sat down to catch his breath and turned to me and said, "Mom, I am so tired but when I hear this music my body just has to dance!" And up he went again. You've just got to see his moves. Later he said, "Troy is so cool Mom. When I grow up I want to be like him. I kind of look like him don't I?" Oh, the heart of a child.
Here are some pictures of Isaac and his last day of school with his classmates, on the playground, and getting his awards. Isaac really enjoyed kindergarten (except when his teacher yelled alot)and all of his friends. Isaac was well loved by his classmates and teacher and he loves them just as much. Ethan said, just being a tease, that Mrs. Crews was "stanky" and Isaac got so defensive and upset I was surprised! So even though she yelled, he still loved her. Isaac's favorite part of kindergarten was always "lunch" or "PE." And his best friend is Andrew. School has only been out a couple days and Shaniya and Stephen have already called, missing Isaac. Isaac, besides learning how to read and add, also learned that girls are "hot" and that High School Musical and Hannah Montana are cool. He also insists that he says "butt and fart" instead of what we've tried to teach him of "bum and toot." See why I want him home? So school was cool, but summer is better!

(Mason is the ladies man already, he must get it from Ethan who blatantly admits that he "loves girls." Where did he get that from? He hasn't even been to school yet!)
