4TH O' JULY PICS

We can hardly believe that this year we celebrated our 4th 4th of July here in Jacksonville FL! Every one has been great and spent with good friends. This year there was a city 4th of July celebration going on at the Veteran's Memorial Arena so we headed there late morning to play lots of fun free games, make crafts, and be entertained. It was all indoors and super air conditioned which was awesome. They had even made a real ice skating rink in the arena! Dave and Ethan made it a date and were so cute out there skating together. It really was quite tender. They had a good time and Mason, Isaac and I had a good time watching them. Sadly my dang camera battery was dead so I didn't get to take any pictures. I'm so sad about that because Dave was so cute with Ethan and Ethan was trying so hard and was so happy and proud as Dave helped him skate around the rink!

That evening we went out to the beach, where we have made it a tradition to watch the fireworks shoot off the fishing pier. It's so fun and such a party. One of my favorite things to watch are all the hoards of people riding their beach cruisers up and down the roads with their beer in hand or in the beer cup holder on their handlebars. It's hard to drive because there are so many people on cruisers.

We lit sparklers at the beach, but I swear all the fireworks that all the people around us brought were enough to call it good for the night. I was amazed! But of course the real show was quite the sight and the kids loved it. This year a super nice lady selling glo sticks gave the boys a few and they sure loved that too.
Then after about 3 minutes in the car on the way home this happenend...
and this...
but not this...

Another fantastic 4th!!!

sweet fireworks pics! Man it makes me so sad to think of you leaving that place that you love so much, but I am very excited to have you closer! Now if only I wasnt having a baby during your time of closeness it would make things alot more fun :(. But hey, we always have California..I am so looking forward to it!!!
