Today was the second day in a row we were able to go to the beach. Oh how lovely. I love it. With all my rainbow heart. And we saw dolphins today too. And it was so fun to watch Mason talk to the sea gulls as he fed them his trail mix with his chocolate covered hands. "Mere birdy, you wan sum? 'Mon! Eat it. I frow it. Oh YES!" Ethan and I made swords and wands with sticks we found. We stuck a feather in the end of Ethan's stick= sword. We stuck a flower in the end of my stick= wand. And I turned Ethan into a knight-power ranger-hero-courageous-brave-guy. And I turned myself into a princess.

Yesterday was really great too. Let me tell you why. The beach closest to our house is Hannah Park. Hannah Park has bike trails, camping, a splash park, a lake and a playground. Well, Ethan wanted to go to the playground before the beach. As you drive to the playground you pass by some ponds. Ponds that I've always thought looked super alligatory. You never really see alligators here in Jacksonville in the wild. But I've always hoped for alligators in these Hannah Park ponds. So as we were driving past the ponds I seriously thought this, "I'm gonna look to see if there's alligators as we drive by. Well, I won't see any, I never do, I'll look anyway." And holy Hannah! You guessed it! A decent sized one too. So I parked the car and Mason and Ethan and I got out to explore a bit (within very safe distance mind you). As we neared the pond we couldn't believe it! Another one! Big one! And after we took lots of pictures and videos and were leaving to the playground- yes! Another one! No way! Three alligators at Hannah Park! If you live here and are reading this you are probably surprised too.

I always looked for alligators in any body of water I saw, too, but never saw any. Maybe I wasn't looking close enough, hoping I WOULDN'T see them. I am a little creeped out. Don't fall in the water!
Ohh. I wish we were there with you.
