Lizzards

We have so many lizzards around here and I just love 'em. As a child I used to catch lizzards at my grandparent's house in Northern California with my brothers and sisters so maybe this is why I still think they are so grand. I love to have them scurry across the sidewalk as we leave the frontdoor and Ethan loves to smack them off the screens of our screened in patio out back. I think they are just cute and harmless and good company.

So the kids were catching lizzards the other day with our favorite neighbor boy Clayton. They caught a couple of these awesome lizzards that change colors. They are so cool to watch. They change from brown to green depending on what they are standing on. How do they do that? How do their bodies know? But anyway, these color changing lizzards have another amazing skill, they know how to be great earrings. Check 'em out! And yes, they are alive. And yes, you can walk and talk with them biting yours ears and they continue to stay on! Talk about a versatile pet! I wonder if they'd change colors depending on what outfit you are wearing?

The lizards are awesome in Florida, I must admit.

With all the snow we have here in Utah, I am really starting to miss Jacksonville winters!
