You've got to admit that sacrament primary programs are one of the highlights of the year. It's so precious to hear the children talk about the gospel. And they are just so dang cute! You get to sit back and get entertained like you've never been entertained before- kids undressing, picking noses, throwing hissy fits, blurting loud things into the microphone, refusing to say their parts, and then there's always that kid who sings every song sooo loud.
Well I never thought that loud singer would be my kid... until today. Little Ethan sang his heart out up there. I would have to say he was the only one you could hear. Um, for real. I wish I could have video recorded it. The whole ward was busting up. He would just close his eyes and "sing" with such passion. To me, it was adorable, because he wasn't trying to be silly, or get attention, he was just being his cute little independent self, singing loud and proud. Aparently someone had told him to tone it down, probably during one of their practices, because right before the program he stopped Dave and said, "Daddy, I'm not going to scream today. I'm just going to sing loud." And sing loud he did.
Isaac also did great. He was the main character in the program and had to do a lot of reading. They were both very excited for their debuts and it was so fun to watch.

Glad you're back April !
The program was really sweet and your children were the stars for sure ! We were both very touched by the whole experience...it is the highlight of the year to see all the children singing praises to our Heavenly Father and Jesus !
That sounds so cute! I can just imagine your little guy up there singing his heart out. I hope you are recovering o.k. from your surgery. I can't believe it was your 4th one- I remember how painful your first one seemed- ouch. I'm so glad you have a blog. It's fun to see what you and your cute family are up to.
Thanks for loaning us your cute kids. The primary program is my favorite sacrament meeting of the entire year.
Your kids were adorable! I can't wait till mine is in primary (of course I will probably still be in primary so I won't get to sit out in the congregation :)
Oh, April, I just read back through your old blog posts and it was so wonderful to see your great family. Don't you think blogging helps people catch up on eachothers lives in such a fun way? I am so glad to be back in touch with you.
I'm SOOOO sad I missed it. I would have loved to hear Issac sing and hear Ethan say his part in that tough little voice :)
